Position Description:
Cambium Learning is seeking successful cold callers to set appointments for the
Sales Team. New and existing clients are contacted in an effort to schedule an
appointment with a Sales Representative. Appointment Setters are on the
telephone every day and are expected to meet challenging quotas. This is a
competitive sales position, with high income potential.

2+ years of demonstrated commission sales success Proven ability to prospect
and cold-call for new clients Proven track record of consistently meeting and
exceeding sales goals Strong Telephone and PC Skills

Title: Researcher

Cambium Learning is a leading provider of reading and math intervention
curricula supported by professional development for school districts throughout
the U.S. The mission of Cambium Learning is to provide curriculum and training
leading to improved teacher and student performance.
This position is fully responsible for the receipt, entry, storage, and
management of all data relating to the activities of the department. The
associate is also responsible for the analysis and reporting of dedicated
research projects, as well as participating in development activities related
to Cambium products and services.

Coordinate and oversee data entry and checking; perform data entry, when
appropriate.

Maintain databases on all projects, prepare data for analysis and interpret
results

Manage and coordinate dedicated evaluation and research projects including
submitting and monitoring data requests, interviewing school/district staff,
developing/obtaining data collection forms and measures, maintaining and
tracking contact with school/district and Cambium staff, and tracking and
managing the collection of data from evaluation/study sites.

Track expenditure and quality control information, respond to any problems or
concerns affecting the receipt, analysis or reporting of the data, and
communicate the status and achievement of all tasks to company and external
stakeholders.

Provide written reports describing status and findings of research on Company
products and services, including multiple iterations of reports to accommodate
multiple Company stakeholders’ needs.

Contributes to department and company development projects, providing expertise
where appropriate in the product, services, or technology domains.

Conducts literature reviews in content areas, measurement, assessment, teacher
professional development and research methodology; assists with writing
research syntheses.

Monitors federal, state and district level policy, research and publishing
trends and identifies and establishes communication with key decision-makers.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Bachelors degree required (preferably in Education or Social Science) plus two
years experience working in a research setting; Masters Degree preferred.

Background in education research methodology and assessment helpful

Excellent attention to detail

Data entry experience, database management, and familiarity with MS Excel is
required.

Candidate must possess ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

Excellent writing, speaking, interpersonal and organizational skills required.

Familiarity with school testing, state-level assessments, and SPSS is preferred
but not required
